International Business: Total US Black Friday retail sales rise 3.4pc

Total Black Friday US retail sales online and in stores rose 3.4 per cent year-over-year as shoppers snapped up merchandise the day after US Thanksgiving, according to preliminary estimates by payments processor Mastercard.
